In spite of the differences both the wheels are very popular. The European wheel definitely has better advantage for the players but people play the American wheel with equal enthusiasm. It is also not true that you will find European wheel in Europe only and vice-a-versa. It is likely that you will find both the wheels in Europe as well as in America.
